Using labels

Organize your events with labels

So that you can optimally manage your events, sipgate offers a handy event labeling function. Labels take over the task of folders and make it easier for you to find certain events. You can create many labels and then decide which events (calls, SMS, faxes and/or voicemails) should be labeled. Events can have either one or more labels depending on your organizational needs.

How to create labels:

  • Click on Filters & Notifications, then click on the Add filter button.
  • Select the events (calls, faxes and/or voicemails) to which you wish to attach a label.
  • Check the Attach labels box.
  • Next, click the dropdown menu and select an existing label or select add more to create a new label.
  • Then click Save.
  • The label will be immiediately attached to the selected event.
  • You can also assign and/or create labels in your inbox.
  • Mark an event that you would like to label and select the desired label from the dropdown menu titled More actions... which you will find above the inbox. The label will then be attached and displayed on the respective event or phone number.

Note: You can also create labels for later use by clicking on Labels in the left navigation bar and then clicking New.
