Using the sipgate iPhone App

Getting started:
- Open up the app and log in using your usual sipgate login details (email address and password).
- Once logged in, under Events, you'll see your event/call list, where you'll be able respond directly to your events (e.g. call someone back).
- Under Messages you can listen to your voicemail and view your fax and text messages.
- The Dialpad option allows you to dial any phone number from the app.
- Under Contacts, you can browse your current contacts and add new ones.
- If you have more than one VoIP phone set up in your account, you'll be able to choose which one you wish to connect to under Settings.
- You'll also be able to check your current credit balance under the Settings tab.
When you are on a call, the following options will be made available to you, on-screen:.
- Mute - mute the microphone
- Dialpad - allows you to use the dialpad during a call
- Speakerphone - put the call on speaker
- Record - record the current call (start and stop)
- Hold - mute both the microphone and loud speaker
- Contacts - browser your contacts while on a call
Hint: You'll also be able to avail of all the usual in-call options with the iPhone app. e.g. Transfer (*3 ext number #), switch between calls (*4) or set up a conference call (*5).
